I have been sick now for about five weeks- it stinks.
I am not violently ill or anything- just queasy all the time- worse at night.
Apples are the magic pill that make it all better - at least for a little while.
I am so tired of eating apples! I may develop a hatred for them before this is all over.
Green apples are the current favorite
Gala Apples were two weeks ago-
Any other recommendations????

I've always been a fan of Fuji apples, and Scott's newest apple trend is Golden Delicious. (We both dislike red delicious though for some reason...?)
How did you find out about apples being the magic cure?

my doctor actually recommended tcutting one up and eating the slices over time in order to keep the blood sugar up. You get sick because the baby eats a lot of sugar right now and low blood sugar= sick. So far they work!

Try Pink Lady apples from New Zealand)--they're a nice balance of sweet and tart. Also Honeycrisp if you can get them. For variety, though, why not try a pear? Even a banana should help with the blood sugar. Also, dried fruits (apricots, prunes) are packable and will do in a pinch. Granola bars are good, too.

Also, to help balance your blood sugar, it helps to get a small amount of protein with each of your meals (maybe even in your snacks). Milk, cheese, a thin slice of turkey, maybe some peanut butter. With luck, you'll get through this stage soon, and it gets a lot better, at least for a while.

Lots of love, Sarah

I always liked watermelon or cantelope. it may seem crazy, but during that stage I tried to only eat stiff that came back up nicely. :) You have already tried my two favorite apples. I am so excited for you guys!
